OK, so maybe it wasn't quite like our Hero David, but Hey, I couldn't resist! Proverbs 17:22 says: "A Merry Heart Doeth Good like a Medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones."

In our world today, there is much to make us downhearted. There is much inner conflict that makes us to feel like "A Wave of the Sea, Driven of the Wind and Tossed."

The Psalmist said in Psalm 42:5: "Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance." There are many reasons for us to FEEL that way, BUT as Paul said in Romans 8:37: "Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us."

Yes, there are Troubles and Trials in Life, but AT THE SAME TIME WE HAVE A GOD THAT IS BIGGER THAN OUR PROBLEMS, so let's deliberately FIX our Eyes Upon HIM and "Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice" Philippians 4:4.

Psalm 118:24 This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
